If you have not applied yet, please follow these 4 easy steps:
Complete the application. Applications are available on our website or by calling our main office at: 443-642-2119. Please note, we are not part of the BCPS High School choice application process, you will need to complete the CNHS application separately.
Submit your application until February 3, 2021 (post marked does not count). You can hand deliver the application during school hours, mail it, or email it. Our address is: City Neighbors High School, 5609 Sefton Ave, Baltimore, MD 21214. We recommend you call to confirm it was received. The email is:firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note an application that is emailed must be a scanned signed copy.
Look for your acceptance letter: The lottery will take place the week of February 10, 2021 at 2 p.m. CNHS will mail acceptance letters by March 1, 2021 following the lottery. These letters will notify you if your child was accepted for the 2021-2022 school year or if she/he has been placed on the waiting list.
Confirm your student will attend: If we don’t hear from you, we cannot reserve your child’s space in our school. The acceptance documents must be returned to CNHS no later than the last day in April. This includes an acceptance form, registration information and the BCPS decline form. The BCPS decline form documents that you have chosen CNHS for your student and you are declining any other school you have applied for through the BCPS High School Choice process. You should submit the BCPS decline form to CNHS and submit a copy to the address listed on the form. A proof of residency may also be required.
