  1. Look for your acceptance letter:  The lottery will take place the week of February 12, 2020 at 2 p.m.  CNHS will mail acceptance letters by March 1, 2020 following the lottery. These letters will notify you if your child was accepted for the 2020-2021 school year or if she/he has been placed on the waiting list.

  1. Confirm your student will attend: If we don’t hear from you, we cannot reserve your child’s space in our school. The acceptance documents must be returned to CNHS no later than the last day in April. This includes an acceptance form, registration information and the BCPS decline form. The BCPS decline form documents that you have chosen CNHS for your student and you are declining any other school you have applied for through the BCPS High School Choice process. You should submit the BCPS decline form to CNHS and submit a copy to the address listed on the form.  A proof of residency may also be required.
